| Brad | Fender Deluxe Reverb RI Oscillation I have a very low hour Fender deluxe reverb reissue I purchased from a private party. After doing some playing on it I noticed 2 audible idiosyncrasies: 1. The tremolo LFO circuit "ticks" 2. The amp has a low-volume audible oscillation. Frequency is fixed, and it doesn't respond to any of the channel volume or tone knobs. I did some internet research and found the cause of the tremolo tick, and a logical fix. I found mention of an audible parasitic oscillation, but no cause or fix. Since this is a PWB based design (hence some consistency in the routing parasitics), I would expect this to be a fairly common problem? I should mention that it is so low in amplitude that you would not notice it in most situations: I notice it in my room though. Does anyone have any prior experience with this amp and an oscillation like I describe? Thanks, Brad |
