The heavy 50oz magnet gives superb fullness and accuracy to the low-end.I find that the mids are sweet and detailed,without some of the harshness or peaks that some other Celestion speakers can give.The highs are clear and without any unpleasant harshness,as well. To my ears,the G12K-100 has more of an "American" voice than most other Celestions that I have heard...Celestion meets Electro-Voice,if you will. Ed
