At this point this guys a dead man walking but he doesn't know it. Doesn't this guy know the web bubble has already burst! It takes more than being a good web designer to make a business like this work but a good website is a real asset if what's behind it is solid. I still think it would be worth someone with a businesss background looking at buying the guy out and either giving him his walking papers or putting him charge of web design. A lot of other things would have to happen as well, like securing a line of credit, amassing an inventory, and getting generous terms from the distributers, etc. At this point a name change wouldn't hurt either.
