measuring output

dustie	measuring output I know this has been covered many times but I can't find it.Could someone tell me ,very simply ,how to measure output power.I have a BF Bassman that I have put a whole new AA864 board in and it sounds good and is quiet but just does not have the power it should.It is pretty loud but I had to turn it all the way up to keep up with a Blues Deluxe the other night.The transformers are original .New 6L6's and preamp tubes and the voltages are close so I want to measure the output.I have a dummy load signal generator,old Tek scope and DMM's.Just don't know a lot about using them yet. Thnaks
