(looking over my shoulder right now for Rod Serling) I worked on a Marshall last week with the same buzzy thing (had new Svet's) but this amp had the caps Kevin O'Connor just mentioned across the plate load resistors, and had the old shielded grid wire trick, where the shield is tied to the plate, still was quite buzzy. Kevin, not digging for a freebie here, but do you have any additional insight (a tough-dog tip) to try when those caps are present and still so is the buzz?. I'll try working with the interstage attenuation meanwhile.
