MXR Dist + for bass

Corwin | MXR Dist + for bass has anyone used a MXR Distortion+ for bass? if so, how did it sound? What mods could be done to make it have a nice bass growl? I have most of the parts to do a Big Muff or a Distortion+. Right now I'm leaning towards the Muff because it's what Jason Newsted and Cliff Burton use and I love that sound, but if the Distortion+ could get a similar tone on bass(or modded for bass), I may build one. |
