Mick | Re: 6K6? Hi JP, I've always thought that 6K6's sounded great and have used them in some very low power single ended projects. Unfortunately the maximum plate voltage for these tubes is only about 285V. So if you really wanted to used these tubes you would probably want to modify the power supply section of your 5E3 to produce around 300V. Mick |
