Actually, I've been reading about these mods with great interest. So far, I've learned about the cathode bypass cap mod, the coupling cap mod, the volume control mod, and the try a different speaker mod. I've tried the bypass cap mod and am pleased with the results. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other mods as well, so I guess I'm becoming a de-farter. I just wasn't sure whether the term de-fart had a more precise meaning that I wasn't aware of. What other sorts of tweaks are available to the determined de-farter? Thanks for clearing it up for me.
