Laser cutting is very cost effective especially on shorter run items. The best part is design revisions only cost a few mouse clicks. Stamping would be less expensive for large volumes though.
I've only done water-jet cutting once on carbon fiber so I don't have a good feel for it's cost. My guess is that it would be a little more expensive than laser. However, there's the likelihood of a better edge finish and less distortion due to heat and stresses.
I don't have experience with EDM, but I think it's probably too slow.
