To be able to buy stuff to make Strats,Tele's ,humbucker's , P90's and I hope Jaguar , Rickenbacker ,lipstick and other pickups in small quantities and getting it from one place, to have access to this Forum (if now this Forum is gonna be under the Association umbrella)and to know you get good stuff instead of bad. That's good.

I'll live in Sweden so like Yves, Andy and others who lives in Europe there is the shippin ,custom and others fees. In Sweden we have a tax called MOMS-tax and it's 25% on everything I'll buy outside the EU (European Union). So if I buy something $100 worth from the USA I'll have to pay $25 in MOMS-tax and custom fees about 3% and the shipping. So it's $100+$25+$3+shipping.That's not so good.

So maybe there should be an european Associaation eventually like SK said -I quote -"willing(eventually) to establish a "branch" in europe or wherever to basicly do the same thing there with the same funds...."
But maybe we are so few us in Europe as Yves said.

I concider myself as a "serious hobbyist" ,still learning , and putting in the "hobbyist" level(as SK did) was good , i'll agree with you Yves.

$25 annually for the "hobbyist" , I would pay $25 annually just to have access to this Forum !!
Without Internet and guys like you David and Jason and his "winding book",Wolfe,SK ,Andy,Tony,Doc and you others and access to this Forum has been a priceless help.
I'll enjoy making pickups , it's fun.
Oh no , I've become a "Pickup-Nerd"!
