Yeah, I've compared them before. Even the non polished, regular bevelled magnets seems to be stronger.  
It really didn't take that long to polish, only a few minutes. I usually clean up the bevelled end anyways...this time, I just decided to go a bit further and do a full-on polish.  
This would look fantastic stuck into a humbucker bobbin.
