Yes , the absorb thing , that was what I was afraid of and glue joints getting weak , no no no , I'll laquer pot it , haven't done it before but there's first time for everything.   "Dip pot" , how do you do that , just dip it in laquer ?   Thanks for the advice , SK.     Gunno
