Re: A funny story about pickups
I wanna hang out with this guy. One of my bandmates contacted you sometime ago about rewinding some of our band's PU's. That was about a year ago or so and how I first heard about you. He never followed up due to lay offs and all that. But now things are back in order. And it is good to see you are an Ampager too! Maybe one of these weekends when you are available we can all get together have a drink or two in Seattle?

I dunno if I personally need any pickups wound... Wait, Doc (Ampage guru) and I have talked about the nature of the Fender Seth Lover HB for the past few years... Maybe you could help me with this pickup? I don't know much about PU's nor have time to wind them myself, and Doc has a lot more knowledge about this specific model. All I know about mine is it is a very early Japanese (circa 1984?) and the pole pieces are not magnets as the original were.
