Standard tolerance for pickups

Gunno	Standard tolerance for pickups I've unwind 2 dead pickups a little bit a Razor Tele Neck Pickup and a old -73 Fender Jazz Bass Bridge Pickup. The Razor Pickup should have 9.5 k , after a little bit of unwinding it now reads 8.9k, Jazz Bass pickup now reads 6.9k , took off 0.36k . Both pickups are now funtioning. I´m wondering , what is standard tolerance for resistance on pickups ? On the Fender Forum someone said standard tolerance for pickup winding is +/- 10% , so if that´s true these two pickups are ok , 10% sounds a bit to much to me. Is it ok take off some wire and still call them by their "real names" ? Or should I just rewind them ? Gunno
