Bill has no problem sharing some of his wisdom (to those who can comprehend his concepts) He is a mathemetician and can rattle off formulas like nobody's business. I would venture to say that no one knows more about pickup making (no one alive, at least) than he does. I know his L-280N is the finest single coil pickup I've ever played. I know that some noiseless pickups are reputed to sound sterile or middy but his don't. They sound beautiful like a single coil should, and at $40 a pop, are reasonably priced.
