| SK | Re: What if we succeed? I think you're expected answers are close, but there is a significant issue. Most are not going to want strat and tele bobbins. Some don't like to work with them; Either way, the customers don't want to see them. Plastic singlecoil bobbins are automaticly considered junk/cheap... Wolfe, it's a nice idea, but largely a pipe-dream. We would have to organize officially, and the organization would have to make the purchase. Then who owns the stuff if the organization disolves? After the molds/dies were made, then we'd have to somehow create a supply so that parts could be purchased in quantity desired at time desired. It is possible, but who manages such a thing? We've been there when we wanted to make a "group order" but no-one else in the group wanted to order at that time due to funds or existing supply/demand, or one needs to re-order sooner due to thier current demand.... |
