Sounds like you missed out on a deal, a pretty uncommon deal at that. I kinda feel the same way, and it's natural actually. "I had to do "this" to get "here", you should too". It's generally the big time suppliers we protect, but against who? The minimum orders and fees will keep all the non-players out anyways. But there does need to be a place to get all the stuff reasonably at "one source". The company/person that puts that together will have themselves a nice little side market(not enough to float a business). Hell, I'd probably pay a little more to order everything from one supplier, at least the difference in shipping/handling totals, just for the convenience.
