Adrian	Re: The Ultimate Tubes read "Hiroshima" by John Hershey if you really belive the stuff in your post. It is a journalistic account of six survivors and is really interesting.     BTW lots of Japanese peole are Catholics (like many Americans) and so have similar religious views
