Steve A.	Great "new" album from B.B. Brett: I just picked up "Do The Boogie! Early 50's Classics" on Flair/Virgin Records: 72438 39654 2 7 — on most of the numbers his tone is as thick as a telephone pole! Great record but there are no recording details... I remember listening to "The Jungle" on King Records back in 1968(?) and I thought he sounded like Mike Bloomfield playing through a transistor radio— very tinny so he was probably trying out the Varitone control. In his two live records available then his tone wasn't too thin, but not as thick as on "Do The Boogie!" --Thanks! Steve Ahola
