Ouch. It sometimes surprises me the types that don't realize or car to realize the market for anything. They all say, "It isn't worth anything!"  
 
I am the pawn shop/yard sale/dollar store/antique shop wizard. A few years ago I snagged a wood bass clarinet for $60 that needed about $400 of work to be playable. I ebayed it for $360 to a gentleman who was VERY pleased with it. Last year picked up an old saxophone... Called LeBlanc who bought the original maker. We dated it to 1909! Whoop whoop! The thing is tuned to A 338 cause it predates the standard 440 A. It has EVERYTHING original including the cloth silica gel packet! I can't get a lot of info on it, except for everybody who sees it wants to buy and gives me their business card. ;)
