nic | Re: Whats the possibility of a lawsuit if...... I do have a real copy and serial of W2K Pro. So if something is happening it is cause two computers one license. In order to 'see' another machine on the network you don't have to be sharing out any network drives. It will see the other machine and just give you two subdirectories: "Printers" and "Schedualed Tasks". I am just thinking it would not be to far fetched that Windows could apply technologies that made XP very unpopular (forced license registration) to preexisting OS's. When I have time I will see if I messed something up, to confirm I am a paranoid. nic |
