There certainly will be more than a few people who will not miss him one bit. However, I do give him credit for repeatedly arguing against using social security money for purposes other than SS. For years SS taxes have been used to fund general expenditures of gvt as well as SS needs, which is criminal in my opinion. So OK. Moynahan was not a complete zero. As a person, he seemed to be a rather nice guy actually. Bottom line is this. You can be the nicest guy in the world, but if you take it upon yourself to fleece taxpayers in the name of what you perceive as social good, than you also stand a chance of being a real loser in the eyes of many as well.
