jazzmaster pickup questions

nabisko	jazzmaster pickup questions as soon as i get some pickup covers and a pickguard from warmoth, i'll be almost ready to put my guitar together. i'm putting jazzmaster pickups in my strat. the questions i have are: do these mount to the pickguard or the body? i think they mount to the pickguard... but if so, can i use the same screws and springs as a strat? or a standard screw i can use? and while looking for parts i saw replacement pots for jazzmasters- 1 meg and 50k??? is this because of extra parts in the jm tone circuit or what? i just want to wire them up with a three way switch (bridge/both/neck) what pots and capacitor should i use? also, what do you think of jazzmaster pickups in a strat? has anyone ever done or seen this before?
