If so, consider using star-quad mic cable for your guitar cord since it has better noise rejection than two conductor nonsheilded guitar cable. Mogami makes a good star quad cable and you can buy it from your local high-end studio supply house. For a short run it's inexpensive. Also keep the cable run to a minimum. LFO
