Jered | Re: Mesa Dual Rec Gain Mod Hey guys, I just replaced the 1uF bypass caps, C31, C32, C33 with CDE 1 uF "Super Pups" and now I'm wondering why Mesa didn't put quality caps here in the first place. It's got a huge chunky tough sound from what was a boxy, fizzy sound. I can't imagine this being overlooked, is this all just to save a few pennies? Or maybe its a supply issue? Gotta be a happy medium then with a current production quality capacitor. I'm baffled. Jered |
