Help with power tanny please

Scoops	Help with power tanny please I'm converting an untraliner Super Reverb to blackface specs. The power tranny has a bridge rectifier on it that I'll have to keep. There seems to be a center tap on the high voltage side, but is it really a center tap? The original circuit has the lead connecting to the middle of the first filtering stage, which when I connect it, bumps the DC voltage up to over 520Vdc. Without it connected I get 460Vdc which would be perfect. If I left this lead unconnected, would it do the tranny harm? Tnx Scoops
