6V6 and 6L6 power amp

George | 6V6 and 6L6 power amp I would like to design an amp that can run a pair of 6V6 and 6L6 power tubes. I am having a wonderful time trying to figure out the Primary impedance puzzle. I have come to the conclusion that it is really a matter of trial and error, but to save some "trial and error"...... Has anyone built this type of amp?? What primary impedance works best?? (plate voltage will be 390vdc) Is this worth doing or should I simply select one power tube and design around it?? Thanks to all! |
