km	Marshall tones i have a 78 jmp 50 w head that ive been trying to figure out for a long time.i bought it a few years ago and at first it sounded great.It gradually lost volume and started sounding a lot different.It ended up being the OT slowly dying.I replaced it with either a New sensor or CE elect. brand-cant remember..That brought the amp back to life but it sounds like ASS.Very "hard" distortion not the smooth Marshall tone it should have.Ive replaced all tubes -tried switching to el 34's,new filter caps,--all voltages check ok.Any ideas on whats killing this amp??could it REALLY be the brand new OT?? possibly one of the many .022 caps might be toast??
