neatpete | Re: Compressor: Why? thats a good point, my amp sounds a hell of a lot better when you put the preamp just before distortion when you play a barre chord. this is partly because the signal is being compressed and partly because of the harmonic distortion being added, but compression definitely makes clean sound better to me peter |
