Of course, the vintage 1959 LP has lot's of snob appeal. But in mu opinion, nothing more. Secondly, guitars have been digital in one form or another for nearly a decade. Line six modeling amps, Variax guitar, Roland guitar synths of various kinds, for example. Finally, analog will never die.
