5 color band resistor question

dan andersen | 5 color band resistor question hey all i have a resistor in an old silver tone twin twelve that is ginving me trouble, the color code is black, red or orange, grey, blue, and silver. i know that this should be 38 or 28 depending on the red or orange stripe Mohm, but just to check i reversed and used a value to color calc and it came out differant. also i tested the resistor and it has floated to 108k can that be right can it float that much. thank you dan |
