Mike Conner | So.... ...how many of you guys use the 24mm Mouser/Alpha pots? I usually use them. I love the feel and have no complaints about the 'tone' (whatever that means, some people say they sound bad?? I can't hear it) or taper. They've been more robust then other pots I've tried which feel cheap, are lightweight, and even fail (through heat or use, not sure). The last round of Alpha 1M I ordered are maybe funny on the taper and read about 940K, but otherwise I've been very happy. Inexpensive... I always snip that nub too. Maybe I've just never known great pots, but they work great for me. How many of yous guys use 'em? Just wondering about other peoples experience and if I'm missing out on any Holy Grail pots out there (besides Clarostat which I just won't buy in small quantities due to the price). |
