Enzo	Re: how difficult to make a footswitch with LED? I would be guessing that since the factory said it would need a battery for LEDs that the circuit is not powered. If the footswitch were controlling relays you could just use the relay power. But if the switch just grounds off some logic input, then the LED will have to be powered separately - hence the battery.
