Fish or cut bait?
I built the tyco octavia and it don't sound  
right, maybe not enough sustain or gain.I tried  
an MPSA18 for Q1 with no increase in gain,  
 
to increase the gain of this pedal should I look at  
changing the bias of Q2 or Q3, or should Q2 and Q3 be matched like in other octave pedals?  
 
Any help will be helpful, really!
