SMD parts soldering

MM	SMD parts soldering Hello! Does anyone know of any "SMD IC sockets"? For example, SSM2166 is not being sold anymore as DIP, only surface mount is there, and as I don't have smd soldering skills or tools, I was wondering... ------------------- ...without the socket or special tools, what would be the best way to solder smd IC's? ..Put an ice cube on the top of the IC while soldering?
