Learned this from working at a junk yard... support the damn thing on some wood (on a solid area of the enclosure, you know; not the switch or knobs or LED something!!), take a screwdriver of the appropriate type and stick it in the slot, and BANG on that sucker with a friggin hammer a few times. That will loosen the screw; I guarantee it. Of course a pre-soaking with WD-40 will help some if there's really rust or aluminum oxidation holding it tight.
