| JDPS150 | Like getting a new wah I have a newer Dunlop crybaby & did the true by-pass a few years ago & have been very happy with it. Tried a bunch of mods just for kicks. Had the inductor go & put a Fulltone in. Last nite I adjusted the rack/gear on the pot. WOW! Can't believe I've overlooked this for years. I've got a lot more highs in the toe-down area, get a very pronounce throw & can get that nasty wah like I always wanted. FWIW, I took the bottom off & loosened the screw that holds the white loop deal that keeps the rack against the gear, & swung it to the side so the rack was out of the picture. Turned the pot as far as it would go, after figuring out which way the pedal turned it. Closed and held the pedal w/ my hand so that the switch was all the way down. (wanted to make sure that I wouldn't try to go past the pots end of travel before the switch engaged.) Slid the rack into position & put the retainer back into its' spot. Wound up backing it off a bit. It gave me that much throw. Prolly old news for you guys, just wanted to pass it on. Joe <>< |
