Re: Where can I hear a Tweed Deluxe 5E3?
Holy Smokes Guys! What is this a soap opera?

We all like cool amps and especially the 5E3. Each one of us has different tastes in music and playing styles. Let's just take a deep breath and find some common ground here.

Ted is a good guy and knows his amps very well. I am sure that he spends a lot of time putting these clips together and takes offense to those who not so eliquently critique his work.

Everyone on this forum has lots of good ideas, comments, information, etc. to share with each other. We all have our biases as well.

With that said, I will have to agree with some of the comments about Ted's clips. For some reason, they sound very reverb heavy. This can be caused by a multitude of things (Room dimensions, speaker placement, wall materials, software, etc.). I think that we could all help Ted work out some of these bugs by offering suggestions instead of criticism.

Ted, if you would like my help (since I am local), I would be more than happy to spend some time figuring this one out with you. I have helped a few other friends figure out their recording issues with good success. I would also like to show you my 5E3 that I built and get your opinion on it.

Keep up the good work Ted and others.
