| bnwitt | Re: Star Grounding Bruce, I have indeed noticed your easy going nature and willingness to help tube enthusiasts. I am known for my dry and unusual wit and this is not the first time I have been misunderstood. One of the first things that impressed me with your kit was the excellent instructions and wiring layout drawing you provide to your customers. I think that information plus this forum have made it possible for many many players to build their very own tube amp who could not have done it before. I certainly was using the Queen's "you" and "your" in my post and the odds of me seeking a UL listing and going into commercial production are slim and none so I was actually making fun of my own amp building efforts with that remark. I build amps for fun only. I have built quite a few so far and everyone of them have been sold to friends and friends with rocking sons and daughters for only the cost of parts. I am quite proud of the fact that, but for me, there would be more than 20 fewer budding 15 year old guitar players out there who have experienced and all tube amp. I myself did not plug into my first all tube amp until many years after I began playing and I enjoy seeing the reaction when someone does so for the first time. I enjoy the forum and appreciate the effort it takes for you to run your business and help out here as well. Cheers |
