I just re-read all of my posts in this thread and no where did I find where I mentioned you personally at all, or your kits so I'm not sure where you got the idea that I did. As far as I know, you have put together an excellent kit for the 5E3 and everyone who builds one loves it. I have no axe to grind with you at all, and frankly, I am now somewhat perplexed by your reaction to my posts. Now I am wondering if you have a bone to pick with me for some unknown reason. I can't believe that, as we don't even know each other, but if you do let me know. You have my email. For everyone in this public forum, not using the brass plate is not a major deal, but is just one of my anal retentive preferences that goes along with my dual star grounding method of amplifier construction. As Bruce says it works just fine for many years with no problem. Leo wasn't a dummie for sure.
