Just for a point of clarification, as long as your amplifer is not exposed to moisture or condensation, never left in the van, or garage or brought into any environment which has relatively warmer and moister conditions (like your house) than the one from which your amp has come, (like when you bring in your amp from the cold van) the chances of galvanic action between the brass grounding plate and the steel chassis or pots is remote. But we all know that is not always going to be the case. A better gounding plate would be made of lead-tin rather than brass as lead-tin is closer to steel on the noble chart and would not be as aggressive. Tinned wire on the back of the pots is even better. For a better understanding of this take a look at the link below:
