Re: Low 6V6GT Plate Voltage
Bruce,
I've tried both a 220ohm and 200ohm cathode resistor and the plate voltage measured to chassis ground dropped even lower (like 320v range). So the plate voltage with the 250 ohm cathode resistor has been the highest. Also used the smaller value resistor to increase screen voltage (got a 3k2ohm in now) to bring plate and screen voltage to within 20volts of each other. Just kinda wondering why the higher cathode resistor gives more plate voltage to ground? Maybe a higher value would = more plate V?
Thanks, Denny
