UL Approval?

LFOscalator	UL Approval? How does one go about getting UL Approval for a new product? Is it required for all products or for just those that are sold above a designated revenue of production threshold? Not sure of the exact details, but my understanding is that it is quite costly and requires that you pay Underwriter Laboraties to completely test your product for safety before UL allows you to use their certification designation. Anybody know how this works? LFO
