And I leave the drain wire in, doublecheck the caps/plates with a DMM, etc. BUT I don't see how one could really solder certain components in or out of an amp and do other relatively difficult wiring feats with only one hand. I'd pay to see someone desolder an orange drop, slam the iron down, and yank out the cap with the same hand before the solder hardens. Perhaps I'm not understanding the one hand rule, or am just not as dextrous as everybody else! mike
