I had a couple of shocks connecting myself to B+ early on with mending amps - but I'm very careful now.  
 
Weirdly enough the last really bad one was from a disposable camera. I was trying to figure out how the charge pump worked when I shorted about 300 volts from one hand to the other. Most unpleasant.  
 
I guess the shocks are unavoidable - but you really do need to be careful...people die from them.

I'll be really surprised if anyone can honestly say they've never had a shock from an amp.:)
