Hi Fellow Ampagers, FWIW IMO one of the problems with music today is that there is not a great deal of really exciting stuff out there at the moment,its all very formulated, so as to not alienate anyone,generate money etc. I like listening to stuff where you dont know whats going to happen,say like a musical ride or something.Whether it be slow or heavy or whatever,as long as it dont have all that turntable scratching,that gives me the shits. A while ago I saw a film clip of an English(i think) band(i think )called Brassy(whose lead singer is the sister of Jon Spencer of JS Blues Explosion) and during the film clip it said that this band decided to give punk rock some balls.Well it dont sound like punk,its sounds just like some bad hip-hop with very minimal guitar.BAD BAD BAD. Liam, Bivouac are awesome,Its a shame you dont hear from them anymore.I've got both of thier albums and they ROCK. Its probably the way the music scene is in the UK that brought about their demise,all that dance stuff and wussy brit-pop you have to put up with.At least there is still Swervedriver. Matt
