You can...but:  
 
It's a fairly skilled job to get the new bushes in exactly the right place.  
 
You may need to plug the old holes and refinish to get it looking pretty again.  
 
I think the 6 pin with folded steel saddles are the best sounding.  
 
Are you sure that a fender tremolo block won't fit? They are available as a spare part from your fender dealer. I've fitted many of them. Alternatively try WD. They do a lot of tremolo parts.
