It's a fiddly job. All I did was head it with a soldering iron and solder on it (adding a little bit more). The sodler will melt the enamel, the flux will clear it away. Then just wipe your soldering iron tip and apply a little more tinning to the wire.  
 
 
 
Works for me  
 
 
 
The hardest part is getting the enamelled wire to line up with the output wire!
