My Dano never sounded better

My Dano never sounded better
I just pulled the neck off my Danelectro U2 reissue to adjust the truss rod and found a bunch of saw dust between the neck and body. I cleaned it all out before bolting it back together. Now it feels more solid and has sustain it was seriously lacking. The low E and A strings would just thud but now ring like they should.

If you want a real unique sound then hook up a switch to put the pickups out of phase. I found that the out of phase works good if you have a volume for each pickup. Turn the neck all the way down then set the bridge to desired volume. Now turn up the neck slowly. As the neck is turned up the bridge is thinned out, I call it my "Super Twang" setting. Keep turning up the neck and you will almost completely cancel all output, you'll like it if your a crystal radio fan. Turn the neck up some more and it creates a sound I can't explain, kind of a popping quack twang. When I rewire my Strat clone I'll make this one of the options along with almost every other possible pickup combination, and it will look stock.
