Trace	Re: maybe that explains... I have Fender on the bench now and the mid is wire the same (no cap of course--ha, ha) which is to say that it only uses two lugs for the mid pot also. I've seen some eariler JCM800's (the non-pcb mounted pots) where the mid pot was wired the same way as your amp. Trace
